When you were a kid, there was a TV show your parents watched just as you went to bed. You can't remember what the show was but you remember the theme. It stuck in your head as you fell asleep. A few years later, you heard the full-length version of the theme music on the radio.

There was that song on the radio in the taxi. You got distracted by a familiar-looking park and missed them saying who it was.

The second-to-last trailer before the film started. The piece in the background. It got completely stuck in your head the entire movie but you just could not remember where you'd heard it before.

That tune that just jumped into your head one day walking down the street. What had brought that to mind? Maybe music through the open window of a passing car?
